The first few times I took my daughter here, I thought it was good, however now I see differently. Initially when I went for the dentist, everything was great. They even offered to consult Abby at no charge for the orthodontic side as it is apparent my daughter would need something in the future. I thought this was great, until I got the quote, and plan. They want to widen her jaw. Expecting a 7 year old to remove this device daily at school to eat and put back in, then when I consulted with her Speech therapist about it, Her eyes were wide, and said do not do that right now, it could mess up the surgical correction she had on her palette (Bloom was given her medical hx with these surgeries) Speech therapist wanted me to consult with a dr that specializes in pts that were born with a cleft palette.
Next, They tell me she needs 2 fillings, and they can do it painless, and with no needles and give laughing gas.. WRONG My daughter was crying the entire time, The laughing gas did nothing. SHE IS AFRAID to go to the dentist now when she didn't before.
Since she had the fear, I pushed the next appt to recently. I tried to reach out for an appt via email, they get back to me almost a month later, not even talking about the appt request, but saying the next steps were to sign the financial agreement to move forward.. I didnt say anything about that but wanting to book an appt to see the dentist. I emailed back saying that I was not pursuing that right now and just wanted a check up done. I GOT NO RESPONSE. A few weeks go by, and I call.. appt times not available, I go on waitlist.. okay no problem. Few more weeks go by, Daughter is complaining of discomfort so I put an email request from the website in for an appt request, this was 3 days ago. I HAVE NOT HEARD BACK. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. DAUGHTER IS TRAUMATISED. DO NOT DO THE NEW WAY OF DOING A FILLING. I WOULD STAY AWAY. I HAVE REACHED OUT TO ANOTHER PLACE TO BOOK. They dont seem to want my services unless I want to purse the orthodontics.

While many of the staff have been amazing, my trust feels broken after many failed promises for Dr. C to send me important information to share with my kids’ co-parent so they could be included and on board with the process. Failure to do so has added a ton of undue stress for myself and an additional financial burden. As a low income single mom who drives almost 3 hours for treatment in hopes to better my child’s breathing conditions - I was hoping for a better business relationship but it feels as though we’re just another number unfortunately. I was told his sleep study was “so interesting and I’d be intrigued by the results”- yet I haven’t received any info about that yet either 😕. For the price of my sons treatment, and someone who cares deeply about his health, I feel I deserve the results and explanations of the process.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Our experience here was awful. They were recommending a very costly and invasive "treatment plan" for my six-year-old who hasn't lost any of this baby teeth yet. They were saying he had airway function issues, tongue tie, needed upper and lower jaw expansion (and on and on). We sought a second opinion at a different clinic and the orthodontist clearly explained why everything Bloom was claiming was bogus. We also confirmed with my son's pediatrician and speech therapist that there were no concerns with airway function or a tongue tie. The "consult" was almost two hours long and consisted of high-pressure sales tactics and trying to make my son feel like his smile wasn't good enough. It was awful. The orthodontist only came in for the last little bit of the appointment. Such a waste of time. I can't help but think this clinic will do whatever it takes, at the expense of children, to make money.

Our son has been a patient at Bloom Orthodontics for just a little over two years, and he’s getting his braces off next month! From start to finish, our experience has been wonderful. The receptionists are always friendly, helpful, and excellent with communication. Dr. Crichton and the team are extremely knowledgeable and genuinely caring. We can’t say enough great things about the team at Bloom, they’ve made the whole process such a great experience!

My son and I had a great experience here. I so much love the atmosphere and the staff attitude. They were very accomodating. I particularly love the attitude and experience of Dr. Jonelle Crichton. I can say she happens to be the first dental related doctor that I was comfortable associating with. I will so much recommend this place for anyone especially children.
