I started personal training with Ken as a beginner in weightlifting hoping to lose fat, build muscle, and increase my overall strength. He made my experience at the gym both fun and something I look forward to! Ken designed a customized plan for my goals, explained the purpose of every exercise, and guided me on proper form to avoid injury. He also kept me accountable with my meals and daily cardio. Everyone at the gym is super friendly and I'll go anywhere I can bring my dog 🐶 Highly recommend!

I’ve been training with Natsuki as a beginner at the gym, and it’s been such a great experience. My goals were to reduce body fat, build strength, and tone my body, and I’ve been able to achieve that and am still continuously improving. Natsuki makes workouts easy to understand and pushes me at the right level without making me feel overwhelmed.I’m really happy with my progress and would definitely recommend Natsuki to anyone starting their fitness journey.

Excellent facilities, very friendly and welcoming people. My trainer Alexander was also very patient and knowledgable. Helped me build a solid foundation to set me up for long term success. He has a deep understanding of body mechanics and was able to tailor his training to my unique body style. Thanks to him, he helped me overcome my existing injuries and showed me how to significantly improve my fitness.

I started training at BLk BOX GYM with Alex in September last year. At the time, I was dealing with a right knee ligament and meniscus injury, so my main goal was rehabilitation combined with improving my overall physique. After completing 24 sessions, the results honestly exceeded my expectations. My knee has fully regained its ability to bear load and return to normal training, with noticeably improved stability and mobility. On top of that, my body fat percentage dropped by about 3.5%, and my overall muscle strength increased significantly. Alex is extremely professional and attentive. He always adjusts the training program based on each client’s physical condition, personal goals, and even how you’re feeling on that particular day. Beyond workouts, he also takes the time to explain proper training principles and nutrition knowledge, which helped me understand why I’m doing certain exercises, not just how. Another big highlight is the pricing. Considering the high level of professionalism and personalized coaching, the fees are very reasonable and honestly great value for what you get. I highly recommend Black Box Gym to anyone looking for rehabilitation, strength training, or physique improvement. Training with Alex is very reassuring — he’s also a competitive natural athlete, which really shows in his knowledge and coaching quality. Definitely worth trying!

I chose this gym in my neighborhood specifically because of Ken, after finding out he’s also the co-founder of BLK Gym Box. I hadn’t worked out in over two years, especially after my maternity leave, and I was nervous getting back into it—but training with Ken has been such a positive experience. He’s been incredibly encouraging and never judgmental. He helped me modify my diet, kept me accountable with frequent food check-ins, and incorporated daily cardio into my routine. He also took the time to explain which muscles each exercise targets and made sure I was using proper form, which really helped me build confidence—especially with the equipment. Now I feel stronger, mentally empowered, and confident enough to do it all on my own. I highly recommend Ken if you’re looking for a trainer who truly supports your journey!!
