Me and my wife had the best first time experience with the headspa treatment! The most relaxing, worth every penny! Would go again would recommend for everyone to try least once! Excellent service!

I was charged full price ($80+) for nails done by an inexperienced nail tech. Lena gave me coffin shaped nails after I asked for square, told me they were square. Later offered to redo the tips. Shaved way too heavy with the drill making the nail cure extremely painful. Nails are lumpy, heavy in gel at the ends and some have dips in the centre before getting thick at the tip of the nail. After applying top coat, Lena then tried to fix the shape on the sides leaving them without polish or too out and completely flat. I’ve had good experiences with other nail tech but this is unacceptable. I told reception about my concerns and was told I’d be given a call by whoever deal with these issues. I have not gotten a call and I wasted $100 today right before my vacation.

I received a head spa treatment from Sophie and it was incredible! I travelled to Vancouver for my first head spa after seeing it online, but this local experience was even better without the travel expense! During my Vancouver experience, there were several stretches of time where I was left on the table while the waterfall sprayed my hair and the technician was not present. At Beyond Beauty, Sophie was present and hands on the entire time. So worthwhile and such a great way to relax and treat yourself. I will most certainly be back. Thank you Sophie!

Photos are from immediately after leaving the salon. Come here if you want inexperienced artists who don't care. I left the appointment I had for a fill with bleeding cuticles, acrylic dried all over the edges of my nails and in severe pain. It was only my second time getting nails and I did not know what to expect. The owner was condescending when I called to complain, telling me the pain would go away in a few days, which is obvious and unhelpful. I was offered to have them fixed and do a new set but they had scared me so much I just wanted a refund. The owner insisted on me coming in to have some of it removed and eventually I agreed to do that but had mentioned several times I only wanted the overspill removed and didn't want the nails that I had came in with removed. When I sat down they offered me a colour to choose and then the manager came out and said if they touched up or replaced the colour they would not refund me for the initial botched appointment. I was confused because I was under the impression they were doing a courtesy only to be told them doing that would mean I wouldn't get a refund. I then said fine, I'll just take a refund and leave, only to be told they wouldn't give me a refund unless they removed my nails, and at this point I just didn't want to sit in their salon anymore. Frankly I was entirely overwhelmed, confused and already anxious from the first bad experience. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone of course. Edit: They kept accusing me of nail picking when I never have? I mentioned I got nails to help stop from picking at acne (to explain why I was hesitant to remove the nails despite how hideous and poorly done they were) and they ran with this lie. My cuticles were in a delicate condition due to the "service" I was provided and how much they had drilled into them. This entire ordeal was unprofessional, overwhelming, and off-putting. Frankly I think this response shows how poorly this place treats people and reflects poorly on the owner. I couldn't pick at my cuticles if I wanted to anyhow, because they are covered in acrylic.
