Bella Noir is the best in the business. I’ve worked with a number of photogs from B.C. to Ontario, and this is a hidden gem in the prairies. Every detail that goes into her downtown studio is so well thought out. If you’re intimated by a session, consider going for a tour and your mind will change. The photographer is incredibly dynamic in her talent - whether it’s an elopement, wedding, graduation, boudoir, or even a fun creative - they are second to none. Her editing style has quickly become one of my favourites: vibrant, moody, timeless. Outside the studio, Janell has worked with a number of backdrops; from waterfalls to a winter wonderland. Inside the studio, she has built some of the most impressive BookTok inspired sets. Janell has honed in on her craft and is worth every penny.

How do I even begin?!!! Janell is the absolute BEST OF THE BEST! From beginning to end of every session I’ve done with her , has been seamless and professional. Prep guides , posing help, lingerie and body jewelry choices. And the sets are always rotating with so much creativity and effort in mind. Janell’s space is so safe and cozy and makes a person feel so comfy and at home . The vibe is immaculate. I cannot recommend her enough ! Janell is an actual master of her craft 💖 I had my first real pinup shoot with her and her hubby Ryan in 2014 and I was absolutely hooked! I've had many shoots over the years by different photogs but I must honestly say I've never loved any other like I've loved Janells!! 🥰 I did 12 VIP shoots with Bella Noir last year and I'm still in awe of the amazing photos I received! 😍 I just turned 47 and I have no plans to quit doing shoots or give up feeling this good anytime soon!! 🔥 Thank you again Janell for being a fabulous photographer but an even better person and friend! ❤️ Don't hesitate ladies, just book the shoot!!

Recommend Janell 1000% for any of your photography needs. I've been going to her for years and have never regretted a single session. She is the sweetest, most kind human. Always incredibly comfortable to work with as well when you're newer to getting photos done. Blessed to have had the opportunity to work with her as much as I have and look forward to many more shoots in the future 🙌🏼💖

Janell is amazing! Her level of professionalism is incredible as is her beautiful studio. She makes you feel comfortable and confident and not rushed at all during your session. When I got my images back it honestly took me time to pick a few favourites because they were all SO GOOD. I Highly recommend her for your person photo shoot!
