Truly the best salon in Maple Ridge!!! I’m SO happy to have found Kat as I was travelling to Langley & Vancouver before in order to get extensions. I trust her completely and am always 100% happy with my hair. The vibe in the salon is great, and it’s always clean & beautiful.

I have been seeing Kat for well over 10 years. It is no surprise that when she opened her own salon she curated it so thoughtfully. It is such a stylish, welcoming space where I can come to truly relax every 5 weeks. Kat is a top-notch professional and has helped me transform my hair with suggesting different products to use and techniques that I would never have known on my own. Kat and Heidi are amazing hair artists and awesome people. They have a beautiful salon that is bright and tastefully decorated. I have never been disappointed by a service that I have received there, I just tell Kat my ideas and after an honest consultation I always leave with amazing results, no matter how crazy. I promise that I will never use black box hair colour on my hair ever again! They also carry a great assortment of hair care products to take the best care of your hair between visits. If you want a drastic change but are afraid to take the plunge, don't hesitate and give them a call. Another successful day. ❤️

Everyone at Shade is amazing! They truly care about their clients and want to make every experience phenomenal. Kat is my go to stylist and always knocks it out of the park with my colour and style. When I leave Shade I always feel like a million bucks!!!

I see Kat and she is great! Always professional and does a excellent job. She's also wonderful to visit with, it's truly like visiting a friend. I haven't gone to Heidi for my hair, but everything she does while I'm there looks beautiful as well!
