Took my truck to the shop to see if they could fix the spuddering in my truck, paid $600 and they sent me on my way, drove down the road and my truck ran the exact same. I called them back and paid them another $500 and again nothing changed with the truck. Took my vehicle in as it had a large oil leak. Got the quote for the repair and stated I would take a crack at it myself as money was tight and it was quite an expensive job. Was told it was a difficult job and that I should not attempt it - They offered me a deal to get it fixed there; at the time I was appreciative. Until a few months later the issue came up again, I had since moved 10+ hours away from this shop location so had to get it fixed elsewhere. The other mechanic told me everything was filthy which caused the oil to leak everywhere; it was a bad install. So I had to get the same job done twice. A family member of mine went down to arvids with the documents/receipts and arvids refused any compensation. I can't help but feel scammed, just doesn't feel right to me. I wouldn't recommend this shop after this experience. They were very nice and everything, but when you take your vehicle in somewhere, you expect it to get fixed properly. I wish I had done the job myself.

I just want to say that this shop has the best employees and service. I have had an absolutely crap year with a car I recently bought. They installed an engine for me in May and recently a front axle part. They are extremely professional and proficient, plus they follow up and if you feel something isn't right encourage you to take it right back in. They honestly go above and beyond to explain things, let you know what's coming up and most importantly, not overcharge for things you don't currently need. They have stayed late and waited for me, a courtesy that is so not often extended these days. I honestly feel in the best of hands when I interact with these guys. My daughter recently started going here and she feels the same way. Their just good people. Thank you Arvids!

Ran my shitbox over here on a dime when my cars cooling system finally gave and and started emptying it’s reservoir, not a task I had the time, space or mental energy to do as I had a super busy weekend coming up. The entire process was great the staff spoke with me and not at me, where knowledge and despite being busy did their best to get all the work done quick, even hosed my car down and shined my tires since I had a show for it and couldn’t wash it because of everything going on. I’m happy to say after around 2k km of driving and giving her the beans all the repairs have held up and we’ve had no issues! I do a majority of my own work but considering the price & customer service I can see myself swinging by and letting the Arvid’s team do it for me. Thanks guys!

We were really in a bind, caught in a winter storm with no traction. We gave Arvid’s a call and Rick kindly offered to help. We are so grateful to this business and the kindness of strangers. Absolutely give this company your business.
