I had a great experience with Dr. Trinh! She was very transparent about my treatment plan and clearly explained how everything worked with my insurance, which I really appreciated. She took the time to teach me about my oral health and walked me through the different options I have going forward for my teeth. Dr. Trinh is also incredibly friendly and patient. She made me feel comfortable and informed throughout the entire visit. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist who genuinely cares about her patients and takes the time to make sure you understand your care.

Consulted with Dr Trinh on orthodontic treatment for my daughter. The doctor keeps talking but never listens, so almost impossible to communicate. Eventually we did not do any treatment there, however our insurance was charged $300 for the plan (which she said would be free if we choose not to do the treatment.)

I was referred by my cousin Jen. Dr. Chan and Dr. Trinh are amazing and very comfortable to talk to. They are very professional. I'm very lucky to have found a honest practice. I understand that some people may have budget restrictions but we need to consider a doctor's professional opinion for our health in the end. I'm currently on invisilign, after a few scalings. I'm very happy with their 25 years of practice . But it's not the quantity but definitely the quality you feel inside and out. Thank you so much. I am very thankful and proud to have Apex dental help me. Lastly, they have a clean waiting room and facilitiy. I like their courtesy fridge of drinks too, while watching the Food Network on their screens. Free parking in the neighborhood as well as 2 hour free parking in their parkade building. So convenient that it's right across Metrotown too! Update: March 2023 It has been almost a year and a half. I’ve been doing my cleanings and Invisalign and felt like family with Apex. I feel so much better overall and see the improvements before and after. I’m very thankful and I always look forward to seeing Dr. Chan and Dr. Trinh! It’s life changing and I’m much more happier. Update: March 2025 My dad is a new patient here. He is loving it. He enjoys chatting with Dr. Chan. Dad feels like a new person after each session. Thank you so much Team Apex!

Having had sudden tooth pain keeping me up overnight, I scrambled to find a dentist who wasn’t full for the day. Upon hearing that I was suffering from pain, the nurse, Gina, invited me to drop in even though it was short notice. I was to be fit into whatever was available; I waited less than twenty minutes. The office is small but well-equipped, bustling but welcoming. Gina talked me through the process, was informative and encouraging about the recent changes to the federal dental insurance program, asked always for consent regarding x-rays and was transparent about costs; I wasn’t urged or rushed into anything. Dr. Michael Chan was kind, efficient and informative about any discomfort I felt during the cleaning process. I haven’t been to a dentist in decades, but honestly, I’ll be coming back here fairly regularly once my insurance kicks in, knowing that I’ll be going into a warm space filled with professionals clearly willing to take care of both new patients and the local community even as busy as they might be.

I have been going here for years. Super nice dentist. Super clean waiting room has big screen t.v. plus bottle beverages for people who is waiting. But most of us are on the phones anyways lol.
