We were lucky to be close to this clinic when our young cat Kuzco was showing signs of urinary distress. We brought him in and were met by Dr.Loi and the overnight team, who all immediately kicked into action, helping our boy. Dr.Loi was thorough, kind, and the calming presence we needed when in an emergency situation. He walked us through our options, and supported us all the way. We ended up leaving Kuzco for a 48hr hospital stay, and I was incredibly impressed by the amount of updates I received without even asking. Because of the long stay, we talked to multiple Drs and nurses, and all were great. Kuzco has bounced back incredibly well and I'm positive that this great team had the largest helping hand in that. Thank you again Dr Loi for the loving and exceptional service our boy received.

Last evening we attended the emergency clinic for our America Akita. We’d arrived home to discover she was suddenly lethargic, lacked appetite and appeared to be in pain when walking. A cursory physical exam by me didn’t find anything but we elected to take her for a professional opinion in case her condition degraded. Having lost a dog similarly before-we weren’t taking any chances! We called ahead and they confirmed they could accept her. As we arrived to the clinic, the dog suddenly and shockingly, appeared perfectly fine?!? I walked her around the parking lot for a few minutes. She continued to prove her overall health was OK, but we sheepishly entered the clinic. It was embarrassing to have misread her health “situation” so poorly but it was agreed that they’d check her vital signs and report. Ten minutes later they brought her out and confirmed the dog appeared quite healthy but had a minor fever. This was obviously quite a relief. The next surprise came when I asked “what do we owe?” Gabriella replied “Nothing. We always check vital signs for FREE”. This was AMAZING! We fully expected an invoice for their expertise but the “free check” was very welcome in this otherwise stressful situation. Our girl is fine this morning and back to her old tricks. Thank you !!

The staff at AECFV were so accommodating and patient when we had to take our dog Finn to the clinic two days ago. Dr. Loi was straightforward and kind with his diagnosis of our dog. Clear estimates for care cost were provided and Dr. Loi was not pushy with his suggestions for diagnostic tools, which my husband and I appreciated. We were able to have an answer as to why his health took a turn on the weekend before he passed away today in our arms. I would recommend AECFV for any animal emergency. The beverage machine and multiple Kleenex boxes are a nice touch in the waiting area. Thank you all again for fitting us in.

The staff who work at this ER clinic are absolute angels, from the vets to the vet techs and receptionists. We had to bring our puppy in two days in a row for digestive and GI issues, and each time we dealt with them, they were patient, professional, compassionate and understanding. Their timely communication helped put us at ease during what was an extremely stressful and uncertain time for us. Dr. Nataliia Koshyk worked with us on both days and she presented our options for treatment in a swift, clear and informative manner, allowing us to make the best possible decisions for our puppy’s care. He is now on the road to recovery. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone who may unfortunately have to deal with a health emergency for their pet. Should we ever have a need in the future (knock on wood), we would not hesitate in entrusting this clinic again with our puppy’s care. We are so grateful!

The staff here are phenomenal. They treated our girl with so much care and compassion after she ate part of a lily — something that could have been fatal. They kept her for 48 hours, monitored her closely, and were always kind and accommodating whenever we called to check in. Their communication and empathy made such a stressful time so much easier for us. To top it off, the final bill ended up being about $900 less than what they originally quoted, which was such a relief. It’s clear that everyone at Langley Animal Hospital truly cares about both their patients and their owners. We’re so grateful they helped save our girl’s life.
