Not a bad haircut at a reasonable price. Paying more attention to finishing detail like the very back of one’s neck. Shave it, please with a straight razor and a warm shaving cream dispenser like they do in Montreal. Also, don’t talk to your doctor on your cell phone while you’re cutting my hair. That is a professional no no and the boss let you know it. Thank you for your years of service.

I have been going to George for almost 30 years. He and his wife are great. Good people, hard-working, honest, and they know how to cut hair. Really impressed with the salon, whenever I am visiting British Columbia I stop here to get a great haircut. Highly recommend this salon.

Great, friendly, family atmosphere. They've been cutting my hair (what's left of it) for the better part of 30 years. There's a reason I keep going back. I would highly recommend Amadeus. You won't be disappointed.

My sons and I go and we will not go anywhere else, the owner is a great person who with all the staff make you feel welcome and at easy and some great laughs. It is wise to book as they are sometimes fully booked. Great haircuts relaxed atmosphere but professional.

So, George and co. can cut hair: I have never had a bad haircut here. I would be surprised if you did, either. What makes Amadeus stand out is the atmosphere: everyone is very friendly and clearly enjoys what they do. More specifically, they enjoy where they do it. George seems to like everyone (except for certain politicians), and his enthusiasm for everything that he does is pretty infectious. There might be cheaper places (the price is normal for a haircut) but you'd be hard-pressed to find a friendlier one.
