I recently contracted Altapro to supply and install a 5wk solar array on my property as part of the governments greener homes initiative programs and I wanted to make sure to share my experience of working with them on the project in case anyone else was considering something similar at their house. From the initial project inquiry to the final commissioning of the system Altapro and their staff have been absolutely incredible to work with and I would highly recommend their services to anyone interested in solar installations, residential service work, or even commercial installations. The project team worked diligently to produce comprehensive reports showing projected savings, costs, available grants, and even ROI burn down charts showing how quickly you can start making money from the system. Once all the design elements were approved and submitted we moved to the actual installation work with their technicians on site. The two electricians appointed to my project were extremely polite and accommodating with my wife who was staying at home with our VERY newly born second child. They worked diligently, kept as quiet as they could, and never left any messes or half completed tasks out overnight. Our house was always left in an operational and tidy state and that makes an incredible impression as someone in the trades personally. This effort on their behalf made a very stressful moment in our lives with having a newborn at the same time as house improvements happening as worry-free as possible. The installation went fairly smooth and once everything was inspected and ready to be turned on the techs walked me through the system and explained how everything worked, what app to use and sign up for to monitor everything, and what to do if we need to shut the system down or reboot it after a power failure etc. I've worked with and hired many different contractors as a General Contractor and it isn't very often that I can say I've been this impressed from start to finish on our projects with a contractor very often. That speaks volumes to me and I can say that anyone looking to work with Altapro can do so with confidence. The Alta Pro Electric team made the transition to solar so seamless and enjoyable! They handled all the permitting and engineering with the city as well as helping my family and I in acquiring a federal grant and loan to help offset the cost of the system. Once installation commenced they on site guys were so respectful and easy to work with. The office team took the time to also help notify me and acquire additional grant funds from the city of Edmonton that became available last minute. I would highly recommend anyone interested in lowering the utility bills to reach out to this incredible team!

A big thank you to the team at Alta Pro Solar. We had a great experience at every level from Paul-Andre in quotes, Grayson our project manager and Shawn our installer. Grayson helped us navigate with Energuy and Canada Greener Homes. He was able to ensure we had the correct ferrite rings as we have a amateur Ham Radio station. If you can request Shawn as your installer I highly recommend him. He walked us through the system and we were on the grid capturing the sun!
