This is the place to shop for natural hair care products. Nowhere else in Vancouver has this many Design essentials products. She has products that I haven’t even seen on the DE website! The owner is very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable about hair care. If you have the time, the in person visit is worth it even if you’re just buying products.

My wife has been going to this shop to have her hair done for about 8 years, I would highly recommend it as a husband, due to the attention that Clare gives to her clients. For her Muslim woman clients, the award winning Claire (Owner) makes special appointments, she actually locks the door, and goes to the trouble of putting a curtain on the window. This exhibits her attention to detail, and the care she extends to her clients. Highly recommend her salon. Be sure to check out the various quality hair care products she has there. Unfortunately, I can only give her five stars I wish there was a way I could give more.

It was my first time seeing Clara and she was super nice and able to educate me about my hair. It’s been very hard to find someone that knows how to work with curly hair in the area and I’m so glad I’ve found her. Been to other salons and they’ve never properly known how to deal with my hair. I’m very happy with my cut and the products she used smell amazing. Definitely recommend.
