We’ve visited this gym for a few fight nights and tournaments now, and the experience has always been incredible. From the moment we walk in, everyone is welcoming, supportive, and treats the competitors like part of the family. They always go out of their way to help the teams and make the whole fight experience smooth and stress-free.
A huge thank you to the coaches, staff, and athletes for the hospitality. We truly appreciate it and always look forward to coming back!

My kids have been attending the Lil Dragons program since September and we LOVE this program. As a single mom, it is challenging at times being the main disciplinarian and trying to lay down the law on certain things - and I've felt like this program is exactly what my kids needed. The instructors can be tough, but they care. They know all the kids' names (even though there are tons of them). They always check in with the kids and parents. Despite the large number of kids, they always make sure to watch out for the kids especially in sparring and give individual guidance on technique and protecting themselves. I appreciate all the instructors at Lil Dragons, and have noticed such a positive change in my kids since being a part of their community.
Also, I really love that they are always offering additional programs like a party for the kids on new years eve, summer programs and the programs they offered during the teacher strike. Very helpful for both the parents and kids.
Thank you Louis and Vanessa, for all that you do! You put your hearts into your business and it truly shows.

Highly recommend AMAC and the Lil Dragons program! Both of my kids have benefited tremendously. Luis, Vanessa, and all of the coaches go beyond teaching kickboxing, they focus on building confidence, discipline, and important life skills that the kids will carry with them for years to come. If you’re considering a martial arts program for your children, this is truly the place to be.

I would strongly encourage anyone considering this gym—whether for their children or for personal fitness or training—to do thorough research and carefully consider other options.
Our family was involved for more than five years (and over thirteen years for my husband), and based on our firsthand experience, there were serious concerns that ultimately led us to leave. A child’s safety, confidence, and emotional well-being should always come before convenience. We had ongoing concerns related to supervision, communication, and the overall culture of the environment, particularly within youth programming.
Over time, the sense of community that once drew families in appeared to deteriorate. What we experienced felt increasingly unhealthy, marked by gossip, favoritism, intimidation, and poor boundaries. Many families came and went during our time there, which raised questions we wish we had taken more seriously sooner.
Even for adults attending for fitness, training, or competitive goals, I would advise caution. Positive first impressions do not always reflect long-term experiences, and it’s important not to assume trust without asking thoughtful questions.
This is a family-run business, which can be a strength, but in our experience it also created blurred professional boundaries and a lack of accountability. These dynamics contributed to ongoing conflict and discomfort for those involved.
My husband, Austin Rodrigue—a long-time instructor, former fighter, and trainee—made the decision to leave in order to take a clear and principled stand based on these concerns. The support we received afterward reinforced that our experience was not isolated.
I’m sharing this thoughtfully and in good faith so families can make informed decisions for themselves. Speaking up hasn’t been easy, but transparency matters.
That said, for those specifically interested in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Sensei Altemar runs a strong technical program, and that deserves acknowledgment.

AMAC is hands down the best martial arts facility. I have an 8-year-old son with severe adhd and odd. He was doing awful in school and very disrespectful at home. Since joining the lil dragons program only 8 months ago, I'm very happy to report a complete 180 switch. His grades have drastically improved and is now top 5 in his grade 3 class. He is very respectful at home and very rarely gives any problems. As for myself, I have been in the muay thai community since 2003 and recently joined AMAC after an 8 yr absence. In just a few months, I have lost 28 lbs. My mental health is the greatest it has been in several years. The staff is top-notch. Very knowledgeable and skilled. Many of them have champion status. If you have a troubled child or are looking to get in the best shape of your life, look no further!!!
