I went to get my nails done on New Year’s. The staff was friendly, and she mentioned that she has 7 years of experience doing nails. I was happy and expected a nice job. However, I am disappointed because she didn’t know how to do a French tip properly. The nails look uneven and not straight. I also asked about the price for hair color, and they were pushing me to get my hair done, which made me uncomfortable. I do not recommend this beauty salon.

I got my lash extensions done yesterday, along with two of my family members and the experience was very disappointing. The technician promised that the lashes would last at least 3 weeks, but multiple extensions started falling off within the first 24 hours — which is completely unacceptable for professional lash work. What makes this worse is that all three of us experienced the same issue, so this is clearly not a one-off problem. We have a flight tomorrow and now have no time to get them redone, which has completely ruined our plans and caused a lot of stress. The service felt rushed and unprofessional, and the quality of work does not match what was promised or what we paid for. Lash extensions should never fall off this quickly if they are applied correctly. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for reliable or professional lash services. This was a very disappointing experience, especially for something as important as travel preparation. For the cost, the quality did not match up to our standards. We called the store this morning expressing our dissatisfaction regarding their services and we have not heard back from them since. We are not trying to be impatient, but due to our situation we are very short of time.

Today I got my nails done by Jamal. Not only did we have amazing conversation, but my nails look amazing! I have had my nails done many times before and these are by far my FAVOURITE! Thank you Advance Hair and Spa for a welcoming atmosphere and amazing employees. Thank you Jamal for my amazing nails and for being such a joy to be around. I have found my forever salon and my forever nail tech.

Not new to getting my nails done, I stopped by this salon while in the area to give it a try. At first, the nails looked fine before the design was applied, but once I left, I noticed the shape and the apex was not was I was hoping for-came out a bit odd, something I hadn’t realized inside since the lighting was quite dim.I asked for brown fall colors and a star design on the middle finger as I showed them the inspo, but was pushed toward a different shade and ended up with a decal instead. For $100, it’s pretty disappointing. To make matters worse, my right thumb nail popped off in less than 24 hours. I still paid and even tipped, but it was a lesson learned.. If a tech isn’t comfortable or skilled in a certain design, they should be transparent and either suggest alternatives or assign another nail tech who can do it. That would make for a much better experience. Transparency would go a long way if certain designs can’t be done, just say so and suggest alternatives
