Took in my car without any appointment. They took me in the next day. They found the parts. Fixed the problem in compliance with the initial quote. Great service. Great caring people.

My son noticed a problem with our car when he was driving from Weyburn to Calgary on hwy1. I called several places who all said no one could look at it for at least 2 weeks. Action Auto went out of their way to accommodate him. They determined quickly it was a minor issue and had him back on the road in an hour - which enabled him to catch his flight out of Calgary for a wedding in Vancouver. We are very grateful.

On a road trip to BC my car quit just outside of Swift Current on July 1st. With some family recommendation that live in town I had my car towed to Action Auto. Turned out that my engine needed to be replaced and they gave me a reasonable price and option for a new one, so I agreed to the repair. On pick up (Aug 6, 2020) I was happy with the price, and the service to that point until I left with my car. I was on my way back to Saskatoon when an 1.5 hours into my drive the serpentine belt area started squeaking. I phoned them when I noticed it and asked if any of the pulleys, or belt was inspected on the new engine before install. I was told not very confidently that they were, and there was nothing wrong on the test drive. Almost made it seem like the person on the phone was insinuating I was making up this problem. I was a bit disappointed at the response I got that day. I would have been much happier if they had been a little more concerned about the problem I brought to their attention and invited me to come back for the problem to be looked at. I would have thought I would be respected a little bit more as a customer after spending almost $3000.00 at their shop. This is the reason for 3/5 stars. I have recently taken my car into a different shop to have this problem looked at (have not had time until recently) and further investigation shows that my belt should have been replaced as it was cracked and worn, and one of the pulleys on the engine needs to be replaced. The reason for this review being posted a month later is I wanted all information before posting.

The alternator went on my vehicle on friday afternoon before the long weekend. Had it towed and did not expect to have it fixed until next week sometime. They phoned me back and said they would have it ready by closing. Words can not express how greatful I am. Above and beyond. Thank you so much. I highly recommend them.

Great customer service! The mechanic came to my house to see if he could fix my vehicle on site to prevent me from having a towing charge. I thought that was thoughtful of him! I did end up needing a tow but he was willing to try to fix it so that I wouldn’t need to do that.
