The vet lead my appointment for my cat with some behavioural urinary issued by saying that humane euthanasia is always an option. Maybe rethink your choice

I won’t be returning to Acadia Vet. In March of 2024, I had taken my leopard gecko here for an eye infection. Dr Choi had examined her, prescribed medicine and had given me Oxbow Carnivore Food, which she rejected (I later found out, that Repashy Grub Pie worked way better and actually gained the weight she needed to gain. On top of that, leopard geckos cannot digest most of the ingredients in Oxbow Carnivore Care, as it’s more recommended for mammals.) Dr Choi had prescribed my Leopard gecko Ciloxan but in an eye cream version. It did not work. Nor did I receive any follow up calls or booked for a follow up appointment. (Which the vet I am currently a client at, where she had gotten her surgery, immediately booked a follow up appointment a week after her surgery and even offered to have me bring her up since I'm not comfortable injecting her medicine into her) Following present day, she had an abscess. On her eye. The eye I had taken her HERE for to be treated. I took her to a different vet, and that vet actually took her to the back and examined her throughly. My gecko was in the back for maybe 15 minutes. I then got prescribed the same medication, Ciloxan, but in eye drops form. They worked, very well. Of course, I had to spend over 400$ for her surgery to get that abscess drained (Which I am completely fine with, she is my pet. My responsibility.) which would have been prevented if Acadia had provided the right care. I had spent 128$ here just for them not to treat my pet, despite them advertising they treat reptiles. My leopard geckos has a chance that she’ll lose her eye. While, yes she can live a good quality life with just one eye, but I am frustrated with this vet because it could have been prevented. If you have a reptile, do not go here. Go to a different vet.

Our boston had Brachycephalic airway issues. They had treated the stenotic nares and elongated soft palate using Co2 laser. Our old vet was going to cut using a scalpel and wouldn't refer to a specialist. Their price was very reasonable. They were accomodating in asking for post op medications (ie. Added on trazodone because he is a hyper dog). He is breathing clear, actually smelling, and way less reverse sneezes. There was no complications. They keep the curves of the nose looking very natural. 10/10 Vet clinic. You get what you pay for

Wonderful care at Acadia Clinic for our 6 year old Pomeranian Archie! So pleased at how professional and caring the staff was. They answered all our concerns about his dental and health concerns. Would definitely recommend this clinic!

My dog had her first litter of pups and Dr. Higgins, Dr. Choi, and the rest of the Acadia Vet Clinic team were a joy to work with. They provided excellent service, and Dr. Higgins in particular, went above and beyond when she took the time to answer any questions we had regarding our dog and her new litter of pups. From conception to whelping to pup checkups, the team was always there when we needed them.
